Unique & exquisitely prepared coffees are at the heart of the mission at Aster. This includes our offerings of single origin coffees to our espresso bar menu. Our committment to putting an excellent cup into your hands starts with choosing from the best coffees available in the world throurgh working with our coffee roasters. This work continues with extensive staff training on how the coffee gets from the farm to the store combined with thourough and ongoing training in cutting edge barista technical skills, freshness standards, and the role of the barista in the community coffeehouse. Constant focus on getting the best results we can from a senstive agricultural product helps us serve you the best cup possible.

Directly traded coffees are the coffees of choice at Aster.  Our roasters are committed to fair practices which resonate from the way the farmers are treated, to the way the coffees are grown & processed; as well as the ongoing support & education the farms get in return for working so closely with the roasters. We work with different roasters so that we have a depth of choice in bringing you an ever revolving coffee menu.
